Point To Point & Multipoint Connectivity
What is point to point connectivity ?
Point-to-point and multipoint connectivity is the level of network control and security. Point-to-point connectivity provides a dedicated, secure connection between two devices or locations, while multipoint connectivity allows for more devices to be connected and communicate with each other, but may require additional security measures to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
IT Hardware & Network Services
- Remote Access: Point-to-point connectivity can be used for remote access to a network or device, such as connecting to a home network from a remote location or accessing a specific device in a network from a remote location.
- WANs: Multipoint connectivity can also be used in WANs to connect multiple locations or branch offices to a central location. This allows for remote communication and collaboration between different locations.
